Lenovo possibly working on 7″ 1280×800 tablet

12807inch - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

According to a Lenovo product roadmap found by thisismynext.com, Lenovo is working on a Honeycomb tablet with a 7″ 1280×800 screen. That’s quite a jump up in resolution from 1024×600 and 800×480 that are the most common 7″ resolutions, and on par with 10.1″ Honeycomb tablets currently available. The roadmap suggest a Q4 release, so don’t expect to pick one up anytime soon. Still, if we can get the 10.1″ specs we see now in a 7″ device in half a year (and battery life isn’t terrible) that’s quite a feat.It will fix one of the biggest issues with 7″ tablets, namely being too low res to be much use for A4 formatted documents and websites.
