Hulu Plus now officially available on HTC EVO 3D

Huluplus-screenshot The Hulu Plus app for Android just received a big update today that now brings official support to the HTC EVO 3D. Not only does this mean that you can now simply download the app directly from the Android Market, but you also don't have to deal with any more annoying device compatibility error messages.

The official Hulu Plus app is now at version 1.0.139 and also adds tablet support for the HTC Flyer, which is basically a 4G-less twin of the HTC EVO View 4G. However, Hulu Plus is still not showing up in the Android Market on the EVO View. Hopefully this will be corrected soon, as there is nothing stopping it from running properly on the EVO View if it is running fine on the Flyer.

Along with added support for the EVO 3D, this latest update also purports to bring  "improved playback performance." All in all, it's actually a minor update for anyone who already had Hulu Plus on a previously supported device, but it's huge for us at G&E.

So now that Hulu Plus is finally available on the EVO 3D, do you plan on subscribing to their monthly plan? How do you think the offerings of Hulu Plus stack up against those of Netflix? What's your favorite streaming service?
