Motorola Xoom ICS update is now available

Xoom ICS1 - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Motorola Xoom owners should begin seeing this update the next time they are connected to a WiFi network. This update is for US, WiFi only Xoom owners however. If you have the 3G version, or live somewhere else you will have to wait for the update just a little bit longer. This is actually the opposite way that Motorola did the last update, as the UK was the first to receive the update from 3.1 to 3.2. The US received it about a month later. Hopefully the update doesn’t take that long for our international and 3G Xoom owners.

The ICS update brings a bunch of enhancements and additional features to the Honeycomb tablets. I’ve been playing with ICS on my Touchpad for the last two days and must say that if you have the Xoom you are gonna want to get this update installed as soon as possible. There are a lot of great tablet improvements in ICS. Some of them include a faster browser, a data manager, a new camera application that includes panoramic mode, and the photo gallery app has a photo editor. Let us know what you think of ICS after you get the update installed!
