NBT iPad screencast episode 1: Handling files on the iPad

With my new ability to record the screen of both my iPad and Galaxy Tab I thought I would start a series of screencasts where I cover some aspects of using tablets that can be confusing. This is episode 1 of the iPad screencast, and Android will get its own line of episodes to keep them separate.

In this episode I cover how to deal with files on the iPad, from how the iPad treats files, to how you move files between apps, and how you get files onto the iPad to begin with. At the end of the episode I also cover how jailbroken devices can get the Apple Camera Connection Kit to work for transferring files other than just photos and videos off memory cards and flash drives, something I’ve written about before as well.

I hope you enjoy the episode, and if you have any questions, comments, suggestions or requests for future episodes, leave a comment, send us an email, or post in our forums. A YouTube playlist that will be updated with new videos as they get released can be found here.
