Official dock for HTC EVO 3D only $14.97 at Radio Shack
Remember the official dock for the HTC EVO 3D that Jenn reviewed back in July? You know, the one that was selling for $49.99. Well it's now available at Radio Shack for the extremely low price of $14.97, which puts this accessory pretty much within everyone's grasp.
Of course, you have to spend $50 to get free shipping from Radio Shack's website, or you can check to see if this is still available at your local store. But for around fifteen bucks, you get a decent cradle, a microUSB cable, and a USB AC adaptor – the extra cable and AC adaptor alone make this worth the price, in my opinion.

I got this at my local Radio Shack for this price about 2 weeks ago. I use it at home next to my night stand to allow me to see the clock in dock mode at any point throughout the night. it definitely comes in handy in the morning when I use my phone for an alarm clock since I now can see the screen without having to pick the phone up in a sleepy stupor. Totally worth the $15

There is a link on the Radio Shack site that lets you know if there is a store near you that has these in stock. My local store did, so I got a spare. (I have been using a full cost one since I got my Evo 3d and am very happy with it.)
Be warned, though, that this works only with “naked” 3Ds. No cases!

Oh man if this came in a few days sooner. Last Thursday(the 22nd) I got one of these from Best Buy on clearance for $18.49. And they also gave a deal on the car dock also for $45($44.99) so I guess that makes up for it a little. However, I’m enjoying both devices. To think Sprint doesn’t carry any of these devices from HTC.
Yes, you need to remove your case. I have the Seido Active case and it won’t fit in the dock unless you remove the armour, . But the dock works nicely. Definitely worth the $15 for me.

Just got mine at the shack today. I love it. It’s too bad I can’t leave my tpu case on it. Can’t wait to try the hdmi video on my tv. Wish the mhl cable was on sale too.
I got it at local store last one within 30 miles. Great value. It’s awesome for when I play music by bluetooth through my receiver. Easier to use the controls than when lying down. It’s also less prone to slide around like my OG Evo used to when I’d skip tracks or check my texts etc. when I used the kickstand for this purpose.?
Forgot to mention that you can also add extended warranty on it which some people think its useless but you can get it for the dock for only .99 and its transferable. Maybe this will be a good selling point when I’m getting rid of the 3d to get the next evo.
