HTC One X on AT&T drops to $99.99

one x price drop - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

After a few days of whispers and rumors that this might happen, AT&T has decided to drop the price of the HTC One X by $100, bringing the on-contract price all the way down to $99.99. This is a fantastic price for one of the best Android smartphones on the market today, and there’s currently no indication whether or not this price drop is temporary or permanent. Therefore, if you’ve been on the fence about making the jump, I’d recommend doing it right away.

This price cut comes in the wake of HTC announcing that it’s shutting down operations in South Korea and Brazil due to slower sales and lower profits. However, while this price cut is most likely an attempt by AT&T to encourage slower-than-expected sales, you should definitely not let it persuade you to think twice about the quality of this handset. On the contrary, it’s one of the best Android handset I’ve ever used, second only to the HTC EVO 4G LTE in my book.
