Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus ICS update available

7

After months of waiting, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is popping up for the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. The 7.0 Plus came out at the end of last year and is essentially the predecessor of the cheaper Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, but with better hardware. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 launched with ICS months ago though, while the 7.0 Plus has been waiting for the update.

So far the update is available for European P6210 models. It can be downloaded using the links in the source below and flashed using Odin or Mobile Odin. Users are reporting speed increases in general, but there are also reports of issues with WiFi connectivity after the update. Just another day in Android update land, in other words.
