Samsung to update AT&T Galaxy Note to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tomorrow

The Samsung Galaxy Note was one of last year’s most unique devices. On top of some incredibly awesome and useful stylus recognition technology (and the apps to go along with it), the Galaxy Note offers a massive 5.3-inch display on which to use that technology and those apps.

Unfortunately, if you owned an AT&T-branded version of the Note, you’ve been stuck in Gingerbread since its release. Samsung and AT&T are changing that for you tomorrow, though, with an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich – and a few updates to the included Note-specific apps, too.

According to The Verge, this update is the same as the one that went out to the international models of the Galaxy Note. As such, you shouldn’t expect anything special that wasn’t a part of that update two months ago. Still, an update to Ice Cream Sandwich is undoubtedly nice, especially since this one comes with an update to the S Note app that ties it into Wolfram Alpha. It also adds a few widgets to keep your experience using the Note fresh and fun.

The update is due out tomorrow for AT&T Galaxy Notes. Let us know in the comments how you like it once it’s pushed to your device!
