Spotify turns one in the US

Spotify - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Now I know that Spotify has been around longer than the last year, but us Americans have only been able to enjoy it for the last 12 months. In that time it has become my favorite way to listen to music. I have a premium account and it has been well worth the money. I like having the ability to choose exactly what songs I want to listen to, when I want to listen to them. That’s one of the reasons I never could listen to streaming radio like Pandora. It usually wouldn’t take too long and they would play a song that I just didn’t want to hear, plus there was way too much interaction required to continue listening. I want my music player to continue playing until I tell it to stop, not until it thinks I am done listening. Check out the image below for some stats about Spotify’s first year in the US.
