Deal alert: Moto X is $100 off at Net10 through July 16

Moto Maker $299

While we haven’t spent too much time on the Moto X here at Pocketables, it is admittedly a fantastic device. For the price, users get decent hardware with a fantastic user experience that remains true to stock Android while actually adding some very useful features, like totally touchless controls. And while it has aged a bit over the last year, it’s still a great deal for people who appreciate it for what it is (and those who like updates that come almost as fast as Nexus devices).

And if you prefer prepaid carriers over the big four, then this deal might be especially appealing for you: Right now, through July 16, the Moto X can be purchased through Net10 for only $299, which is $100 off the normal asking price.

To get this deal, you just have to go to Motorola’s site to order the phone and select Net10 as your carrier (or just click the source link below). You can still customize your device through Moto Maker, so that’s a nice little perk as well. And perhaps best of all, you can combine this with a $45 unlimited talk and text plan that includes 2.5GB of data.

Not bad.
