Hey guys, could you hold off with the DDOS attacks for a week or so?
In the past I’ve been threatened with fake DMCA requests, received letters from faux law firms, but this time one of my unfavorable reviews has gotten a DDOS attack on the site.
As I just got out of some serious thoracic surgery and am home recovering (which is the reason for nearly two weeks of no content,) the news that I had 12,000 visitors in a 20 minute span (if I’m reading this correctly) should have been cause for elation… but no, someone’s attempting to bring the site down.
I really wonder if there’s a new product coming out from a company I previously negatively reviewed out there.
Eh, maybe I’m just the target of a drive by multiple IP skimming of the site, but I suspect it’s more likely there’s someone I’ve ticked off that has a marketing and outreach department that is attempting to make their old review disappear.
Or it’s just random. Who knows…
Probably no updates until next week. Existing post surgery still is a thing I’m grappling with.
