Well, looks like I survived

I’m going to keep this pretty short. I survived. Surgery to remove a tumor ended up taking out the thymus, unexpected heart operation, vein capping, unexpected lung operation, and two lymph nodes.

I am home, sitting up, able to walk after 5 days in the hospital with multiple tubes coming out of me to drain. Wired shut with a plastic/metal combo to keep my chest in place while it heals.

Fun times…

So that’s 3 years, 17 blood pressure drugs that didn’t need to be thrown at me, 2 MRIs, knee surgery (due to chest tumor), two rounds of high dose chemo that did nothing positive, and open-rib chest surgery finally.

Greatest health care system in the universe…lemme tell you

Alive, in pain, should be out of it in a couple of days. Can’t drive for a month (sorry dashcam people, unexpected delay).
