Unofficial Froyo ROMs remove 30 fps limit from Dell Streak

Streak-froyo-fps

It's not like many of us need another reason to flash the beta build of the unofficial yet excellent Android 2.2 ROM on our Dell Streaks, especially now that it's so easy, but here it is anyway.

The builds (version 0.3 is the most recent) remove the 30 fps cap that had been limiting the Streak's graphics performance, which means games, scrolling, and other elements are now much smoother. Froyo already greatly improves the device on its own, so this is really just the icing/sprinkles on the cake/frozen yogurt.

Whether the official Froyo update from Dell will also uncap the limit when it's released before the end of 2010 is unknown.
