Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs) dominate at IDF

First revealed at IDF in Beijing several months ago, Intel’s Linux-based MID prototypes are back in full force, this time at IDF in San Francisco.

UMPC Portal is on top of every inch of the new Menlow and Moorestown devices and points to both Phoronix and jkkmobile for lots of photos and video clips. Menlow units aren’t due for release until the "first half of 2008" and Moorestown is the platform’s successor, so I’m sure this won’t be the last time the prototypes are shown. CES 2008, maybe?
