Viliv S5 MID launch party set for December 23rd

While Intel MIDs are far from being understood, appreciated, embraced, or even released here in the US, there’s actually a waiting list to get into Club mASS (curious capitalization there) next week for the Viliv S5 MID launch party in Korea.

Highlights of the Atom-based MID include integrated GPS, DMB, and a 4.8-inch WVGA touchscreen, which is evidently reason enough to celebrate at the Mix n Go bash on December 23rd.

The festivities will begin at 6:30 pm and are expected to last for three hours with some sort of "opening performance," a prize drawing, and of course the official unveiling of the S5. With just 30 guests registered to attend and only 16 more hoping to cross the velvet ropes, however, I’m guessing the event could wind down a bit earlier.
