Sony Vaio P arrives this week!
A week earlier than expected, Sony Style has shipped the 64GB SSD version (VGN-P588E) of my new Vaio P. Originating in San Diego and now in City of Industry, FedEx estimates that the Atom-based device I haven't touched since CES and that will be breaking my self-imposed 7-inch screen rule will be delivered on Thursday. The leather case and extended battery I also ordered weren't shipped with the P for some reason, but I'd much rather have the computer than the accessories. It would be pretty tortuous to have the battery in hand a week or two before the actual unit!
I see from a post in the Pocketables Forum that the 60GB HDD models (VGN-P530H) have also shipped, so it's reasonable to assume that the 128GB SSD units (VGN-P598E) did too.
