Nokia N900 finally oh-so-close, shipping from Nokia USA

N900_order

Let me begin by saying that this will definitely be my last post regarding the Nokia N900 being on sale, available for pre-order, or anything else that amounts to nothing more than a tease. From here on out, the posts will either be an unboxing or a mini-review, because the time is now for the N900.

With that disclaimer out of the way, let me get right to the point. The picture above tells its story very well, which is that the N900 is finally available to purchase direct from Nokia USA for $649, with expedited shipping available for just under $10. That means after being separated from roughly $700 of your hard-earned money, including tax, you can be the proud owner of one of the most anticipated smartphones out there.

Of course, there is that small matter of the higher price direct from Nokia, since there have been plenty of discounts from places like Dell, Amazon, and NewEgg, but Nokia is currently the only one proudly displaying a product page that says "Availability: In Stock." It sure beats those pesky "Pre-order" links and ever-changing arrival dates, so it definitely gives me something to consider as I get ready to place my order.

Thanks, anxious maemo.org forum members!
