Dell launches official Streak accessories in the UK
To celebrate the recent release of the long-awaited Dell Streak in the UK exclusively on the O2 network, Dell has just added a full compliment of official accessories on its UK website for new owners of the Android 1.6 running, Snapdragon powered, 5-inch MID/smartphone hybrid device. Eight different items are available ranging from wallet cases (as shown on the left), car/home docking kits, extra adapters, batteries, and cables, and an international travel kit. But I can't fail to notice that they all command premium prices from £24 (US$35) for the wallet case, up to £55 ($80) for either of the two docking kits. Prices include tax and shipping in the UK, with shipping times listed as 5 to 7 days. With the tablet being so new, there isn't much in the way of third party accessories yet, but I'm sure they will start appearing soon, hopefully in time for the US launch in July, and with some more reasonable prices!
