HTC EVO 4G vs Dell Streak

Evo-vs-streak (3)

When the Dell Streak is released in the US next month (expected to be $500 unlocked from Dell.com), it will inevitably be compared to the HTC EVO 4G. They’re not really direct competitors in my eyes, but they are two of the first names that come to mind when many people think about a large-screened Android tablet/phone hybrid, so I won’t argue that there’s no basis for comparison.

I’ve been following news about the Streak since last October on Pocketables (my other site) and when it was released in the UK a few weeks ago, I decided to buy one. When it was delivered a few days ago, I started a dedicated site about it called Streak Smart. It’s basically G&E for the Streak, so if you’re interested in finding out more about Dell’s 5-inch Android phone, I hope you’ll visit the new site.

For all of you EVO-only folks, though, I’ve got a specs comparison chart and a bunch of side-by-side photos of the two devices below. Your heart may belong to the EVO, but your brain should know at least a little about the competition.
