Dell Streak beta test survey, Week 3
It's Week 3 of the month-long Dell Streak beta test, which means it's time for Dell to send out 1,000 text messages containing a link to this week's survey.
Beta testers will be asked to complete the final survey next Wednesday, July 14th, the day that many believe to be the device's official US release date based on informal conversations with Dell's customer service representatives. Why these reps would be at liberty to divulge information that hasn't been publicly announced is beyond me, but we'll find out how trustworthy and knowledgeable they are next week.
In the meantime, here's a look at all of the questions in this week's survey.
As much as I'd like to believe that the Streak will be released in the US next Wednesday, I think it would undermine the value of the so-called beta testers' feedback too much. Even though the group as a whole isn't something I can take seriously, it would still be bad form on Dell's part to release the device on the same day that the beta testers are taking the time to provide feedback that is "very valuable" and "very important" to the company.
Either way, the 14th is only 6 days away!
