Rooted Dell Streak gets MoDaCo Custom ROM

Streak-mcr

It isn't Eclair or Froyo, but the MoDaCo Custom ROM for the Dell Streak that is now available for root users still looks pretty sweet. Master chef Paul says his custom ROMs are "designed to feel as [much] as possible like a stock ROM, with optimizations, tweaks and complimentary additions that enhance the user experience," so don't expect anything drastic if you decide to flash it.

If you're a paid member of the MoDaCo forums (£9.99/year for ad-free subscription, £29.99/year for premium subscription), you can customize the ROM using Paul's online kitchen, which allows you to pick and choose which components (Google apps, third-party apps, MoDaCo additions, expert options) you want baked into your ROM.

This is Paul's entry point into Dell Streak custom ROMs, so I'm sure it won't be long before we're able to sample some even tastier treats.
