Slice It! game brings ratio-slicing fun to HTC EVO

Evo-sliceit As more companies bring their popular games over to Andy's side, the transition from iOS to Android becomes much easier for all the former iPhone users who jumped ship for the HTC EVO 4G.

The latest game to join the likes of Doodle Jump, Fruit Ninja, and Angry Birds is Slice It!, an award-winning puzzle game that puts your math and logic skills to the test.

The objective is simple: cut a given shape into a set number of fairly equal pieces using a fixed amount of slices. For example, divide a circle into eight pieces using four slices. Developer Com2uS launched Slice It! for Android via GetJar last week, and it's available in Android Market now too.

The multitouch-supporting game is free because, unfortunately, ads are running rampant within and between all the levels. But if you're already immune to seeing obstrusive ads while trying to play your favorite Android games (hello, Angry Birds!), then this one is worth a look. It has good graphics, challenging gameplay, and high replayability, which outweighs all the ads to me. I've also enjoyed Slice It! on my iPhone 4 and iPad for the last few months, so it was a no brainer to get it on my EVO and other Android devices too (it's particularly awesome on the Galaxy Tab).
