HTC to stop locking the bootloader on Android devices

flyerunlocked - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

BGR reports that the CEO of HTC has now gone out on Facebook and said that they will not be locking Android bootloaders in the future, as a result of popular demand. An unlocked bootloader basically means the device is very very hackable, and will go a long way in making it easier to customize a device. Whether this will affect the HTC Flyer in uncertain, but if they could unlock the bootloader on that thing I’m sure some hacker would get Honeycomb working on it in no time.
