LTE coming to the Samsung Galaxy Tab before the Motorola XOOM

Verizon (US) is officially offering 4G LTE on their Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets, at least a month and a half sooner than Motorola is possibly going to give customers of its XOOM tablets the promised upgrade. The LTE version of the 10.1 will be available starting the 28th in Verizon stores and through their website. 16GB will run you a cool $529, and for just another Benjamin you can bring home the 32GB ($629).  Not only will you have your choice of storage, but you can pick between a smooth grey and glossy white. I’d recommend getting both so you can match the weather.

Verizon’s data plan should set you back a bit, but with download speeds between 5-15MBPs, it could be well worth it. A 2GB monthly plan is $30, $50 for 5GB, and 10GB will run you $80 for the month. Full press release after the break for non-believers.
