DJ_Steve asks Dell Streak users if they want Honeycomb, sans phone functions

Twitter snip Many Dell Streak users have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of more news about a Honeycomb port for their favorite 5-inch phone. The Streak has always been heralded as a pocket tablet, so why wouldn't they be drooling over the prospect of the newest tablet-oriented version of Android?

Well, DJ_Steve, Streak superhero and developer of the StreakDroid ROMs, recently issued an ultimatum on his Twitter account: if Honeycomb does come to the Streak, it would mean that the device would lose phone functionality.

As Honeycomb is tablet-specific, it makes sense that Google wouldn't package it with useless phone capabilities: after all, who's going to put a Xoom or a Galaxy Tab up to their ear? This turns out to be bad news for us Streak users, because it means that we can't have both Honeycomb and voice calls.

So, how important are voice calls to the Streak community?  Honeycomb is great, but is it worth giving up making and receiving calls? Looks like we, the Streak community, get to decide.
