Springpad saves anything you want to remember
Have lots of ideas and thoughts that need to be saved, organized, and accessible at any time and from anywhere? Well, grab your HTC EVO and load up Springpad. It's a personal assistant that uses notebooks—really smart notebooks—to help you organize your day.
If you are like me, then you probably have a lot of things going on at once and usually end up forgetting one thing or another. I've tried several different apps to help me remember and organize my busy schedule and haven't come across anything better than Springpad. It allows me to keep track of the things I need to do and store information I will need later.
Springpad makes it easy to save notes, products, and places you want to remember. It quickly and easily stores anything you need. Entries are sorted by type and can be organized into custom notebooks. The app can also create alarms and reminders, scan barcodes for product information, or clip websites for later reading. The Look It Up feature allows you to find information in books, movies, recipes, and many other items. Plus, anything saved in Springpad can be access via web, phone, or tablet, and best of all, it's free!

Save
Quickly and easily save the ideas and information you want to remember, such as notes, tasks, shopping list, places, movies, books, and so on. The Barcode Scanner, Look It Up, and Search Nearby features use the power of the web to help you find anything you need.
Your information is stored in the cloud and syncs to all your linked devices. Data is stored locally on your device so it will be accessible even when offline. Your information will travel anywhere your EVO travels.

Organize
Springpad automatically categorizes your stuff and enhances it with useful links. Note: links will vary depending on the items you are saving.
You can create custom notebooks to organize your information. Make a notebook for that upcoming party you are planning, for that special holiday trip, and another for a pending school project. Notebooks works great to separate your work stuff from your personal stuff.
Anything saved in Springpad can be tagged, making it easy to sort and find your info later.
Act
Now that you have all this information saved, what can you do with it?
As mentioned earlier, enhanced links can be added to your clips. Depending on the category, these links can quickly list movie showtimes, display an address on Google Maps, search for a product on Amazon, and even dial a business.
You can set reminders to alert you of upcoming deadlines or pending tasks that need attention. You can also post information to your preferred social networks. Sharing with others from your phone is also a breeze.
