System application update now available for HTC EVO 3D
HTC is currently rolling out a slew of new application updates for the HTC EVO 3D, which you can get right now by pressing Settings > System updates > HTC software update > Check now.
This most recent release includes updates to several system applications, including HTC Flickr, HTC Friendstream, HTC Peep, and HTC Facebook.
It's important to note that this isn't actually a system update; rather, it will only update the above mentioned apps. Therefore, it is safe to accept this update if you are rooted.
However, if you're running a Sense-based ROM that has disabled these types of updates as a precaution, you can download the updated .apk files at the link below. Then, you'll just have to unzip the download and install the individual .apks as a system app using your favorite file explorer (just make sure you place them in the appropriate system/app folder, and set the correct permissions).
