Deal alert: Valve holding Steam sale to celebrate launch of Big Picture Mode

steam - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

One of my favorite things to do on any one of my devices is game. Currently, my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, and gaming PC all have a plethora of games installed.

However, as fun as my Apple products are to play games on, I still enjoy PC gaming most – and because of that, today’s Valve announcement is incredibly exciting. The company today launched Big Picture Mode, a new, beautiful way to view the games that you have in your Steam collection, installed or otherwise. Really, it’s meant for a living room television screen – hence “Big Picture” – but obviously, you can use it on your traditional computer monitor, too.

To celebrate the release of this new Steam view, Valve is holding a big sale on “Steam’s controller-friendliest games.” The sale will run from now until December 10 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST).

The sale takes up to 75% off the list price of some really good titles, all of which are fully compatible with game controllers. Of course, since they are PC games, keyboard and mouse setups also work with the games. Notable titles on sale are The Amazon Spiderman for $24.99; Transformers: Fall of Cybertron for $29.99; LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes for $10.19; and a number of other great, older titles for various amounts of money.

To see all of the great deals going on today, hit up the Steam source link below, and be sure to check out Steam’s new Big Picture Mode while you’re at it!
