Too late: Google Nexus 6 for $399.99 sells out in seconds on Amazon

Amazon Prime Nexus deal

In case you didn’t know, Amazon has been handing out deals left and right during its Amazon Prime Day promotion – everything from electronics, to movies and TV shows on Bluray, to clothes and books, and more. The discounts have been pretty steep in many cases, but the issue is that everything is selling out in seconds.

In other words, it’s like Black Friday all over again, and that’s exactly the kind of hype that Amazon wants right now.

The Google Nexus 6 by Motorola was one of these deals, going for only $399.99 for the 32GB Midnight Blue model – a full $250 off the price you’ll pay from most other places. While the deal was originally set to last for four hours, it only took a few seconds for it to sell out.

Did you miss it? Don’t worry; Amazon has a consolation message for you: “Late for the Party? We are sorry you missed today’s deal on this product, but never fear! At Amazon, its okay to be late to the party because we have great deals on many more products.” In other words: Sorry. Not sorry.

Were you quick enough to get in on this deal?
