A porn company purchased the domain of a now-defunct video hosting site called Vidme. This was used by relatively unknown news outlets such as the Huffington Post, New York Magazine, The Washington Post, and several others.
TL;DR – older articles that referenced videos that once were on Vidme and were not porn, now are, or are being worked on to not.
Just in case you’re looking for old news today and the video doesn’t match the story. You probably haven’t been hacked. Wonder if this had anything to do with the DNS outages from earlier today. Probably unrelated.
