Anonymous suggests taking on Yelp in Russia

Anonymous / Your Anon News has promoted an interesting use case for the weaponization of Google Reviews, and suggesting you might want to implement it as well in an interesting way in Russia. That being to put positive, but fake reviews on various Russian restaurants and businesses along with a message to the Russian people that they’re being lied to by their government and news sources about their involvement in the Ukraine invasion. Or you know, whatever your message is.

Anonymous v Russia

It’s an interesting idea, which I’m sure will be blocked short order.

As most of us probably don’t speak Russian another Google product might come in handy with translating your review before you head on over to Google Maps.

Bear in mind this is against the Google terms of service, the businesses here probably have nothing to do with the invasion, and your real name and account are attached to a message you’re posting publicly.

Anonymous is also evidently offering soldiers $50K worth of Bitcoin to abandon tanks.
