Looks like Alphabet’s developing Grogugle

Looks like there’s a Google or Nest branded tracker similar to Apple’s AirTag on the horizon, although it might be pretty far away on it.

According to a Twitter thread, support for locator tags has made it into Google Fast Pair code, and concept render… the G Spot Tracker was released a couple of days back… which is a joke… at least let’s hope it stays a joke…

Should be interesting as there’s been a lot of things that could have been done with trackers that just seems to have not happened, which might be for the best considering how the Apple AirTags were turned into stalker devices within about a day or release.

Very much doubt by the announcement time Grogu survives as more than a codename for something that probably becomes a Nest branded product. But we’ll see.
