Google

Been having some weird Chrome issues lately – you?

Last week I got stuck in a captcha loop. No matter what I did I could not get to the backend of Pocketables in Chrome standard.

Popped open Edge, worked fine. Popped open Chrome in Incognito, worked fine. Hard refresh/reload no good.

Saturday I got a message that Vanderbilt Health web portal was down. It was down, for me, all weekend. I got an email I had a message waiting and went and still was seeing it down. Opened up Edge and checked and it was up. Hard refresh/reload on Chrome and nothing.

In both cases I ended up going up to the little HTTPS lock, clicking, going to cookies and deleting the site cookie and suddenly I’m able to see an updated version of the pages, or pass a captcha.

It’s very odd behavior and with Vanderbilt’s page constantly saying the site was down for maintenance I never would have suspected a cookie was set/stuck.
