At 2:20 Eastern Standad Time October 4, 2023, 1:20 Central, etc, your phone’s going to be going squawky today as a FEMA nationwide test kicks in. You can either endure the blaring, turn your phone off during the test window, or that’s about it. This is one of the ones you can’t disable.
If you’ve got a hidden burner phone stashed because you’re in an abusive relationship, turn it off. No amount of do-not-disturb, disabled alerts, etc will stop this from making noise.
