Fandango using HTC EVO to showcase Android app
If you experience a quick little thrill of recognition when you see the HTC EVO 4G in unexpected places on TV (e.g., Ford commercial, Fringe), then you'll enjoy knowing that all-things-movies company Fandango is using it on its official Android app page.
The Fandango app lets you browse current and upcoming movies, watch movie trailers, read reviews, find theaters, buy movie tickets . . . and it's all being shown in glorious rendered form on the EVO. Our phone isn't often used as an example of an Android handset (unless Sprint is involved), so it's great to see it getting more of the attention it deserves.
