HTC EVO stars with Mike Rowe in Ford commercial
If you take into account the HTC EVO 4G's silver Ford SYNC rating and Dirty Jobs star Mike Rowe's Ford spokesperson deal, then seeing the handset in the hands of Rowe in a new Ford commercial isn't anything completely out of left field.
Even so, G&E reader Terrance snapped the pic you're looking at above and noted that he's starting to see the EVO everywhere. It can't be found in as many places as the iPhone, of course, but it's certainly getting a nice share of the limelight lately.
I haven't seen this commercial myself so I don't know what it's about. I'm hoping it's not supposed to be showcasing the EVO's live video streaming capabilities, though, because what's being shown on the screen doesn't quite match up with the background scene. It also looks like Mr. Rowe's hand could be blocking some of the lens, depending on how he's really holding it.
Either way, it's always great to see the EVO getting some mainstream exposure.
