Amazon Wireless announces new price match policy and more free apps
Amazon Wireless, one of my favorite places to shop for an HTC EVO, just announced yesterday that it's no longer in beta. To celebrate, it's introducing its "Best Price Guarantee," along with giving away about $25 worth of premium apps to whoever buys a new smartphone.
With the Best Price Guarantee, Amazon now promises to refund the difference if you find a lower price for the same phone and same plan at another website within 14 days (take that, Wirefly!). Additionally, if Amazon lowers its own price within 14 days, it will also refund the difference.
Furthermore, for a limited time, Amazon is giving away approximately $25 worth of premium apps, depending on your selections. Eligible apps include Doodle Jump, Shazam Encore, Paper Camera, Weatherbug Elite, Office Suite Pro, Frogger, and more.
Right now, both the HTC EVO 3D and the EVO Design 4G are still a penny, so I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a better price. But once you throw in those free apps, you've got yourself quite a deal. I just hope this promotion is still going on once the EVO One is released.
