White HTC EVO 4G modded to get rid of red accents

While some people scrape the paint off their black HTC EVO 4Gs to reveal a red trim that highlights the red accents on the back of the phone, skydeaner decided that his white EVO would look better without a trace of the trademark color.

So he sanded the camera ring with 1500-2000 grit sandpaper until all of the red was gone and then polished it to a mirror finish. He repeated the process on the kickstand, sanding until the brushed lines were gone, and finished off the mod by covering the red plastic under the stand with several coats of glossy black spray paint.

The result, after some additional polishing to remove small scratches, is an elegant glossy white EVO with glossy silver and black accents that don't clash with whichever colorful jelly case skydeaner feels like using on any given day.
