Sense 6.0 update for most 2013 HTC devices reach the certification phase

HTC One M7 certification

In an effort to increase transparency and keep its customers more informed, HTC launched a new website where you can check to see precisely where your device is on the update timeline. When I told you about that last week, the Sense 6.0 update for the 2013 HTC One M7 was still in the integration phase, which is the final phase before carrier certification.

Today, we are just a bit closer to seeing the update reach all of HTC’s 2013 lineup as most have reached the certification phase, including the HTC One M7 on AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon; the unlocked and developers editions of the HTC One M7; and the Sprint and Verizon HTC One max. Unfortunately, the T-Mobile version of the HTC One M7 is still in the development phase, and the AT&T HTC One mini is in the integration phase. (All received already received the Android 4.4 update.)

I’m not sure what the hold up is with T-Mobile, but hopefully it will catch up soon. For all other HTC devices, I’m happy to see that the Taiwanese manufacturer is so far keeping its promise to deliver these updates as quickly as it can – even if it’s still slower than what most users would like to see.
