HTC One mini on AT&T will get Sense 6 this week

at&t

An official HTC spokesperson just confirmed on Twitter that the AT&T version of the original HTC One mini will indeed be updated to HTC Sense 6, the latest version of HTC’s own custom user interface. Some of the improvements that the HTC One mini will enjoy include:

  • Blink Feed
  • Motion Launch
  • Zoe
  • Sense TV
  • …and lots more.

The newer HTC One mini 2 already shipped with Sense 6 preinstalled, and HTC has been notorious about not updating older handsets, so it’s nice to see this happening. Of course, since the hardware is a little older, some of the more advanced features might not survive the update, but most people probably won’t even notice.

Here’s the tweet that went out earlier today:

If you are using this phone on AT&T now, let us know when you get the update and how it’s working out for you!
