Ice Cream Sandwich boot animation and audio available for taste testing
Ice Cream Sandwich, which was recently announced to be released on the HTC EVO 3D officially (and will unofficially make its way to other EVOs as soon as a developer has a chance), has been dripping random bits of itself onto the net for the past few weeks.
Early last month the fonts for the new operating system hit the net, and more recently the colorful boot animation you see to the right and the associated audio became available.
So If you're hankering for as much Ice Cream Sandwich as you can get on your EVO before the scheduled release date, then you can go ahead and replace your boot animation and audio now using one of the links below from our friends at XDA. Unless you reboot your phone a lot, these aren't things you'll see or hear on a regular basis, but hey, ICS is ICS.
To get these treats on your EVO, you'll either need to be rooted, use ADB unrooted, or have a boot animation/audio changing application in order to change your startup.
