A glass of Cristal with your gold PSP?

Gold_pspBack in November, Sony Japan announced that as many as five new colors of its PSP would soon be competing for your cash (assuming your cash is in the form of yen, of course). And by year’s end, Japanese gamers had pink, silver, and blue systems to call their very own.

The company, it seems, is all about binary oppositions. The PSP debuted in black and soon received a ceramic white counterpart. It re-emerged in pink and was followed shortly by blue. Silver, the only one without a companion, has had a lot of lonely nights.

So what does Sony do? Whip up a mate in champagne gold, of course! Expected in Japan on February 22nd for about $175.
