Apple's Mini MacBook sounds tasty
If the MacMini Portable didn’t satisfy your ultramobile Apple cravings, maybe a tiny MacBook, rumored to be debuting at this summer’s WWDC, will do the trick.
The presumably clamshell-style device is supposed to be lighter and more compact than any other "Mac portable Apple has put forth in recent years" (namely the PowerBook 2400), as well as be equipped with a "display of similarly smaller proportions." That means under 10.4 inches. The Mini MacBook also reportedly lacks an optical drive and a HDD, replacing the latter with NAND flash to improve battery life and offer instant-on functionality. Hmm. Small form factor, sub-10" screen, no CD/DVD drive, and solid-state disk. Interesting.
Applegami, anyone?
