HTC EVO battery cover options now shown in final form
It looks like a lot of progress has been made since we last checked in on the clear battery/back cover project for the HTC EVO 4G.
There was only a prototype (and a lower price) shown last month, but now we've got photos of the final production version of not just the clear cover but also the red, blue, and yellow that were only pantone color samples before, as well as a new limited edition black one we didn't know about earlier.
The covers feature raised rails, a medallion bearing the brand name IcyCell (the previous name was Custom Evos), and judging from the photos, a rather glossy finish. The black cover is $24.95 apiece due to the fact that only 10 were made, while the other colors are $16.99 each.
I'm partial to the clear cover, but all of them look like great choices for those who want something other than a vinyl skin or the original battery door.
