HTC extends the $100 HTC One offer until April 26

100 bucks - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

That $100 trade up credit we told you about last month – the one in which you can get a minimum of $100 for trading in your old phone for the HTC One – has now been extended until April 26. You then have until the end of May to send HTC your old phone and get your credit. Most likely, the delay is due to HTC’s supply problems with parts related to the company’s new “UltraPixels.”

In case you missed it, all you have to do to participate in this promotion is go to HTC’s cash back website, submit your email address, and wait for a reply. Once you buy your new HTC One phone, send in your old phone with proof of purchase of your new phone, and HTC will send you a Visa prepaid gift card worth $100 or the cost of your old phone – whichever is greater. Combine this with Best Buy’s Phone Freedom promotion (if you were lucky enough to get in on that), and you’ll have $150 toward the cost of the new phone.

Overall, that’s not too shabby!
