Good and EVO

First press shot appears of HTC EVO Design 4G

EVO-Design-4G Well, what do we have here? Why, it's the HTC EVO Design 4G, of course! In fact, it looks like the newest member of the Sprint EVO family just had an official press shot leaked, even though Sprint and HTC haven't made any official announcements regarding this device or its release date.

We first told you last August about the possibility of a new EVO coming to Sprint, and this was later supported by an accidental leak at Gameloft.

And no, this isn't the HTC EVO 4G+, about which Sprint has been completely silent. But it still seems fairly respectable as far as mid-range Android phones go (and a heck of a lot better than the EVO Shift 4G).

Just in case you need a refresher, the EVO Design 4G will have a 1.2GHz single-core Snapdragon processor, a 4-inch qHD display, dual cameras (5MP rear and 1.3MP front), 720p video recording, Android 2.3.3, 768MB RAM, WiFi n, and the Sprint WiMAX flavor of 4G. Nothing to write home about, but a huge improvement over the EVO Shift.
